Want to Volunteer with Community Connections?
We’re looking for people who want to work as partners with neighbors in St. John. Our philosophy is not about “giving to” but “working with.” There are opportunities to volunteer for a day (clean-ups, home repair) and for the long-term (mentoring a child, coaching kids, teaching small business skills). Building relationships is the key!

HopeFest is coming! From Sept. 23 to Thanksgiving, there are scores of opportunities to serve east Austin churches, schools, police, libraries and other organizations. There is also a one-day day of service and celebration at Reagan High on Oct. 28 needing volunteers. Call 653-4935 to find out how you or your church can be involved.
Mission Training: Community Connections is looking for young people with a call to missions. We offer regular seminars, as well as longer-term training, in a cross-cultural environment. Contact 653-4935 for more information.
